How to measure
Use a flexible measuring tape, keeping it level and comfortably against your body without pulling it tight.
- Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your chest.
- Waist: Measure around your natural waist, the narrowest part of your torso.
- Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat.
When your measurements fall into different sizes
Compare all three measurements rather than choosing from your waist alone. A fitted dress needs room across the bust and hips as well as the waist. If your measurements point to different sizes, use the larger indicated size as a starting point, then consider the dress's cut and your preferred fit. Stretch does not guarantee that a smaller size will fit comfortably.
Fit notes for these dresses
Slate Simono Mini Dress: The description lists an oversized bodice with a fitted body-con mini skirt. Pay particular attention to your waist and hip measurements for the fitted lower half.
Tassle Nenema Dress and Shaggy Nenema Dress: The descriptions list double seams at the waist and back, a snug-fitting body and slightly looser sleeves. Compare bust, waist and hips before choosing your size.
